Steel wool can be moulded to any shape to enable easy abrasion of irregular, contoured or hard to reach spots, unlike sandpaper which tends to crack. Whereas abrasive papers will also clog sooner or later, steel wool does not - the mesh structure enables you to simply shake the wool to quickly and effectively remove sanding dust, improving sanding efficiency. This mixed pack contains a roll of each of fine, medium and coarse grades that cover a wide range of surfaces and tasks from light to more aggressive abrasion.

  • Mixed grade pack of high quality steel wool for cleaning, degreasing and surface preparation that includes fine, medium and coarse grades
  • 30g rolls that can be easily cut to the required size with sharp scissors and moulded to any shape for curved and irregular surfaces
  • Fine grade is ideal for gentle surface abrasion between coats of paint and varnish or smoothing out bare wood after using coarser grades of sanding paper
  • Medium grade is ideal for removing paint, varnish and rust from wood, metal and copper pipes
  • Coarse grade is ideal for aggressive removal of paint, varnish and rust from wood, metal and copper pipes.
  • Can also be used in conjunction with chemical strippers on harder films such as two-pack or epoxy coatings
